Taipei, TAIWAN – June 13, 2007 – Silicon Power Inc, a leading manufacturer in flash memory products, proudly announced its recent success in COMPUTEX Taipei 2007. COMPUTEX Taipei being ranked the world's second-largest information and communications technology products exhibition, Silicon Power presented its five-day brilliant run at the TWTC, scoring a good turn-out in spot orders from foreign buyers during the show period. The number of buyers visited Silicon Power's significant booth grew sharply from a year earlier, with those from Korea and Russia, particularly, shooting up 100 percent and 70 percent, respectively.
Silicon Power has unveiled its new products during the show period, they are LuxMini 710 and TOUCH 610, both new products have caught the attention from our distinguished visitors and partners. The new products were introduced to you as a new catch and a proof of our creativeness in product development.
According to show organizer – TAITRA, the number of foreign buyers visiting this year's show posted an increase of 10 percent over last year. The top 10 countries and areas where overseas buyers came from are, in descending order, the U.S., Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, Malaysia, India and Indonesia. It is estimated that exhibitors at COMPUTEX Taipei 2008 will rake in over US$20 billion in orders from visiting buyers during the show period, June 3-7.
