Taipei, Taiwan – November 28th, 2019 – Silicon Power has been awarded the Taiwan Excellence Achievement Award, which is the highest honor for Taiwanese companies, and one that only a few have been granted throughout the entire history of the award.

About The Taiwan Excellence Award

The Taiwan Excellence Award was established by the Ministry of Economic Affairs to encourage competition amongst Taiwanese companies by producing innovative products with superior quality that will, in turn, boost their competitiveness in the international market as well. Eligible applicants are subjected to a rigorous selection system that includes a review of R&D, design, quality, and marketing. Selected products, recognized for their competitive edge within the international market, are chosen to serve as examples of Taiwan’s prowess globally, promoted by the government itself.

The Road To Achieving This Milestone

In order for a company to receive this highest honor, a total of 50 products must earn the award – a challenging number for a company of any size or experience. For the past 12 consecutive years, Silicon Power has been accruing Taiwan Excellence Awards for many of its innovative products, spanning multiple product lines.

With the strikingly attractive Bolt B75 Pro Portable SSD garnering another win for 2020, Silicon Power has gracefully passed the requirement.
