Silicon Power announces a brand new USB1.1/ 2.0 7 in 1 Card Reader

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (Jan. 9, 2006) ---Silicon Power, today announced the immediate availability of a High Speed USB 7 in 1 Flash Card Reader. The 7 in 1 reader’s Mulit-Slots are available in USB 1.1 (part number: SP7R) and USB 2.0 (part number: SP7R-2) versions and can access Flash Data Storage Cards including Compact Flash Cards, Smart Media Cards, Secure Digital Cards, Multi Media Cards, Memory Sticks, Memory Stick Pro’s and Micro Drives. The 7 in1 card reader’s Mulit-Slots act as four individual drives, and supports a 1x Compact Flash Card/Microdrive socket, a 1x Smart Media socket, a 1x MMC/SD socket and a 1x MS/MS Pro socket. The Silicon Power 7 in 1 Flash Card Reader is ideal for users of today's portable devices such as digital cameras, PDAs, MP3 players and Mobile phones. PC operating systems supported are Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. There is no need to use a USB cable when using card reader because the card reader has already an embedded a USB connection for direct insertion into the USB port of your computer.
