Silicon Power at COMPUTEX 2024: 4 New Products that Redefine Performance
Silicon Power at COMPUTEX 2024: 4 New Products that Redefine Performance

2024-05-28

Taipei, Taiwan – May 28th, 2024 – Silicon Power (SP) returns to COMPUTEX 2024 with the theme of “Storage Beyond Limits” to introduce four new advanced products.  There will be physical displays of the new XPOWER Storm DDR5 RGB with speeds up to 8000MT/s, MX10 MagSafe compatible portable SSD, VPG400 certified StudioPro CFexpress Type B card, and laptop-compatible US85 PCIe 5.0 SSD at Booth #J0617a in Hall 1 on the 1st floor of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

XPOWER Storm DDR5 RGB: Speeds up to 8,000MT/s

The XPOWER Storm DDR5 RGB is a game-changer in memory module technology, reaching top-tier speeds up to 8,000MT/s with overclocking capabilities and a low-latency configuration of CL38. Operating at a low voltage of 1.45V, it reduces energy consumption without sacrificing gaming performance, while 16GB and 32GB capacity options provide flexibility. Inspired by a shark's sleek design, curvy dorsal fin and symmetrical gill slit details promote a sense of speed while emitting dazzling RGB lighting for a visually stunning experience. To cater to various gaming demands, it’s also available in 6000, 6400, 6800, 7200, and 7600 frequencies.

MX10 Portable SSD: Magnetic Phone Storage Expansion

The MX10 portable SSD is a cutting-edge solution for data storage and backup needs. With MagSafe compatibility, it features magnetism up to 17N capable of holding up to 1kg. This provides unparalleled convenience, allowing for effortless attachment to and instant storage expansion on compatible devices like the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max to fully unleash its 4K ProRes 60fps recording feature. Military-grade drop resistance and IP54 dust/water resistance[1] ensure durability and reliability, even in challenging environments, while high read and write speeds up to 1,000MB/s[2] deliver rapid data access and seamless file transfers.

StudioPro: VPG400 Certified Performance

With Video Performance Guarantee 400, the StudioPro CFexpress Type B card supports movie-quality 4K/8K video recording and burst mode photography. VPG400 guarantees a minimum sustained writing speed of 400MB/s to easily meet the demands of today’s professional creators. The StudioPro also features lightning-fast read speeds up to 1,800MB/s and write speeds up to 1,650MB/s[2] to capture multiple frames per second, making it ideal for snapping high-resolution images and achieving ultra-fast transfer speeds. To take full advantage of this performance, it’s available in massive capacities up to 1.6TB.

US85 PCIe 5.0 SSD: Surpassing 10,000MB/s Speeds

With its PCIe Gen 5x4 interface, the US85 sets a new standard for speed and efficiency, offering astonishing read and write speeds up to 12,000MB/s and 10,000MB/s,[2] respectively. Its DRAMless structure mitigates common overheating issues while maintaining sustained performance and reliability. This design ensures that even during intense workloads, the US85 delivers consistent performance without compromising on durability. Moreover, its compact form factor makes it ideal for integration into laptops, providing the unmatched speed and efficiency of PCIe 5.0 without sacrificing portability.

With 21 years of global experience and strong R&D capabilities, the four new products to be unveiled at COMPUTEX 2024 not only display Silicon Power’s comprehensive range of storage solutions, but also aptly showcase the company’s core design concept of “Storage Beyond Limits.” Targeting gamers, content creators, AI computing, and other applications, guests are encouraged to visit the company’s booth to discover its ever-growing product development capabilities and experience interactive displays.

[1] The MX10 is MIL-STD-810H 516.8 certified. It is also IP54 dust/water resistant when the included rubber case is attached.

[2] Results are based on data from Silicon Power’s internal lab. Actual results may vary based on the environment, usage patterns, or other factors.
